Varanasi to Ayodhya Tour Itinerary
On arrival Varanasi Airport/Railway Station meet our representative. He will breif about your tour in short and will hand over the tour related documents.
Later move towards Sarnath, which is also considered as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO. It is the place where Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visit to Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and Sarnath Museum.In the evening, we shall take you to the Ganga ghat for evening Ganga aarti. Enjoy aarti darshan get amazed with the rituals of lams and holy chants. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Early Morning boat ride on the Ganges along Manikarnika Ghat and other famous ghats. Each ghat is famous for a particular activity. As you row along Manikarnika Ghat, you can witness Hindu cremation rituals. You can click pictures of the process if desired from the boat.
Visit important temples like Kashi Vishwanath temple, Bharat Mata temple, Annapurna temple, Sankat Mochan, Durgakund, Ramnagar fort, BHU and others. Lunch will be serveden-route. Many temples have rules regarding the dress code, use of camera and others. Please obey to rules to avoid being blocked from entering into the temple.
3Varanasi to Ayodhya (Distance 220 km)
Next Day after breakfast we move to Ayodhya. There is no entrance fee to enter the temple. If you are planning to perform rituals under your name, you need to buy tickets for the same. Buying flowers for the deity from the shops near the temple is a common act. It is not compulsory to buy flowers. Giving donations to the priest or putting money in the hundi is not compulsory.
After, you would be dropped back at your hotel or taken to airport/railway station as per your request.
